Lokananda Yoga / LandRanch is a small organization that relies on donations to support our home and all our programs. Reciprocity and generosity, for you, for your families and with the LandRanch staff are values we all cherish. We actively invite those who have more resources to share and support our community. For those of limited means, we offer a discount that invites your trust and respect for the incredible resource that is being shared.
Whenever we consider finances, scarcity, worry and other fears are often part of the landscape. With our tiered system of sliding scales, we invite you to consider your perception of wealth or lack of finances in relation to others. The financial structure of our culture has changed significantly in recent years, and many people who felt financially OK before the pandemic are now struggling. We often hold on to limiting, outdated perceptions around our own abundance. We invite you to be honest and accrue some good karma by considering your situation in relation to others.
We recognize that wealth is not just about money. As part of our commitment to equity and generosity, we have kept the price of Private Retreats to an absolute minimum. The amount of preparation and integration time, personal attention and care that we put into your personal experience is far more than the dollar value. As far as we know there is no other facilitator like Tara offering such diverse experiential teachings and modalities, with direct transmission of the spiritual potency of Nature, along with intimate guiding and profound authentic love.
Private Retreats are an exclusive offering, and we want to make it possible for everyone who needs this life changing service to have access.

CHOOSE YOUR CONTRIBUTION
A 1 session Private Retreat is 15 – 20 direct hours with Tara and is normally $5,300 – $7,400 per person, depending on location and travel circumstances. If Tara is traveling to your location for other purposes, there is no additional fee for travel. If Tara travels to you exclusively for your Private Retreat, covering Tara’s travel costs is in addition to these contributions.
We invite you to select your contribution tier as a way of acknowledging the diversity of financial resources in our community, and to support others wherever possible.
(1) Pay It Forward Tier: Financially Abundant, Access to Wealth
At LandRanch (includes meals/accommodation): $7,400/single or $9,500/couple
At your location (you provide meals/accommodations): $6,900/single or $8,500/couple
You are welcome to donate more to support others who are disadvantaged.
If you identify as wealthy/financially abundant, and
- own your own home, and may have other properties
- have investments other than your home and retirement accounts
- access to family or inherited money or trust funds
- a high degree of earning power due to level of education (or gender and racial privilege, class background, etc.)
- ability to choose not to work full time, to work part time by choice, or to volunteer as work
(2) Standard Tier: Financially Advantaged
At LandRanch (includes meals/accommodation): $5,300/single or $7,400/couple
At your location (you provide meals/accommodations): $4,800/single or $6,400/couple
If you identify as upper or middle class and
- own your home
- are comfortable with leisure travel, attend festivals, concerts and conferences
- have few restrictions on shopping or entertainments
- have full health insurance
- have investments or retirement accounts, or assets such as multiple homes, more than one vehicle or recreational vehicles
- have access to family money and resources in times of need
- ability to choose not to work full time, to work part time by choice, or to volunteer as work
(3) Supported Tier: Financially Just Managing
At LandRanch (includes meals/accommodation): $3,200/single or $5,300/couple
At your location (you provide meals/accommodations): $2,700/single or $4,200/couple
If you consider yourself middle class and
- have steady employment
- own one car
- feel comfortable eating at restaurants and engaging in recreational events
- enjoy a basic level of financial security
Scholarships are currently not available for Private Retreats. For those who wish to stay more than 2 nights or have more than 1 session, please contact us.
DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS
Private Retreats require a $1,000/person partially refundable deposit upon booking. If you need to cancel you may receive $500/person of your deposit back. However, if you cancel within 7 days of your Private Retreat the entire $1,000/person deposit is non-refundable.
Bookings are usually several months in advance. If you wish to be put on the wait list either to visit in Silver City, or to be notified when Tara is in your state, please email us.
